How does it work?

  • Hazards and exposures are divided into Hardware, Software, and Protection features.
  • Within each category, 10 key factors are identified to represent the main hazards associated with particular industries.
  • Each factor is further broken down into a number of different questions.
  • Each question is rated on a scale of 0 to 4 with guidance given to determine what score corresponds to what measures are in place on site.
  • The average rating for each factor is calculated.
  • A summary of all factors is presented showing the average rating both numerically, and on a bar chart.
  • The bar chart is colour coded to illustrate the quality of the risk.
